The Jam-maker has spent most of life working with numbers of one sort or another, but his great passion has always been cooking – and he’s damn good at it too (oh I was such a such a slim person when I first met him!). Surely a chemist in a previous life, The Jam-maker loves the alchemy of cooking, and in addition to his jam making, he is also famous for his ‘from scratch’ trifle and sourdough bread baking.
