This week’s menu

Our menu changes with the seasons. Here’s what we’ve got on offer this week:

Pulled lamb shoulder Shepherd’s Pie
And our parsnip and potato mash-topped shepherd’s pie has been created using  a slow roasted shoulder of lamb, so tender you can almost eat it with a spoon.

Middle Eastern Tagine
A fragrant chicken tagine, flavoured with garlic, cumin, cinnamon, saffron and tomato, sweetened with currants, ginger, lemon and honey.

Beef and Guinness Pie
A slow-cooked labour of love, with tender beef, onions, celery, carrots and herbs simmered in a rich dark gravy of tomatoes and the dark beer. Finished with golden pastry lid.

Nan’s Bread & Butter Pudding
Don’t ask how many calories, just enjoy the made-from-scratch sweet, eggy custard oozing through the buttery pudding dotted with fat sultanas.
